Tom Earnest
Leaving his home in Cleveland, Oh., he enlisted in the United States Air Force for 22 years.
Serving as a Drill Instructor for a year.
The remainder of his career was in
Government National Security
and assigned with the U.S.A.F.
Thunderbirds.
Earning the Bronze Star while in
Viet Nam
among numerous other awards during his career.

Gilbert is a veteran of Viet Nam, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and has been a member of VFW 1533 for ten years.
On July 1st, he was selected to lead the post on it's many activities that benefit Veterans and the surrounding community.

Ernie served 20 years in the
United States Army.
He served in El Paso, Hawaii, Colorado, Germany, Kansas, El Paso.
He was in the All Army Rifle Team,
a Drill Sgt. for 3 years,
served in Desert Storm,
graduated from the Sgt. Major Academy.
Ernie received numerous medals to include a Bronze Star for Desert Storm.

While at Harlandale H.S., Miguel was active in athletics. He participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track & field. In this time he earned accolades in each sport including football.
Miguel served in both the US Army Reserves and the Texas Air National Guard for over a combined 28 years. In that time he answered the nation's call to served in 1970 and continued through 2012. In this time, he was called to support combat operations during the war on Terror in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Although each combat deployment differed in nature, he was always sought to lead combat-patrols ensuring the safe arrival of necessary supplies and equipment hostile areas. Additionally, during the war on Terror he served simultaneously, but in different regions, with both his sons Miguel Jr. (US Army) and Ruben (US Army).
Today he resides with his bride of 47 years, Mary Lou, in San Antonio.
